She was the cherished daughter of Knute and Hansine (Hanssen) Berg and beloved baby sister of Raymond and Kenneth.
Helen enjoyed a wonderful 35 and a half year marriage with devoted husband Raymond Johnson. She was a loving mother to Knute (Tasha) Horwitz, dedicated auntie to numerous nieces and nephews, dear friend of many, and she shared and cared with countless sponsees.
Helen earned a B.A. in History from Mundelein College. A woman of boundless love, immense intellect, and tremendous poetic and theatrical talent, Helen will be missed by all whose lives she blessed with her kindness and generosity.
