Ioachim Bic

August 8,1944 – September 6, 2025

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Iochim Bic, who left this world peacefully on September 6th, 2025, at the age of 81.

Born in Romania, Iochim immigrated to the United States in pursuit of a better life and eventually made Chicago his home. A devoted husband, father, and grandfather, Iochim’s life was a testament to hard work, faith, and love for his family.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Maria, with whom he shared many decades of marriage. He was the proud and loving father of Simo and Vali, and a cherished grandfather to his five grandchildren, who brought him endless joy and pride.

Iochim was a man of deep faith in God, which guided him throughout his life. He will be remembered for his gentle spirit, strong values, and unwavering dedication to his family.

A visitation for Ioachim will be held Monday, September 15, 2025 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Montclair-Lucania Funeral Home, 6901 West Belmont Ave, Chicago, IL 60634. Following the visitation will be a graveside service from 1:30 PM to 2:30 PM at Mount Olive Cemetery, 3800 North Narragansett Ave, Chicago, IL 60634.
