Many fond memories of John and Mary Alice and dinners together.  I loved working with John at Meier, MetalsUSA and finally Alro Steel.

Sorry for your loss. John was so  kind and funny was always smiling when the family visited us many years ago while we lived in Windsor,Ontario.

Both Diane and I are truly saddened by your passing.  We remember all the times we had fun and good times.  I especially remember you and your sister the visits we had when our parents visited and we had our own party.  God bless and keep you.

Even though we were never very close, I had a "special place" in my heart for you John - every Saturday morning as we walked the paths of Lincoln Park! I will think of you, with your cup of coffee - each time I now walk on Saturdays!!

John was a gentle man. He was a sweet man. He was a giving, helpful and respectful man.  While dining out together, he often regaled us with fun critiques of meals he remembered having at restaurants years and years prior, not missing essential details of the chefs' preparations.  We'll miss his smiles, and we'll miss him dearly.

John often visited our family and was like another brother. He was a 'mensch' ...a gentlemen always. Everyone wanted to be his friend and many are.  We will miss him. May his memory be a blessing.  z'l . The Bleiman Family

So sad to hear about John's passing.  I fondly remember years of meeting him for Friday lunches, and greeting him every Saturday morning as he arrived, always just after the warmups, clutching his ever-present coffee. I am very saddened to see my good friend John pass away. He always had a smile and was in a good mood. I am really going to miss him

So sorry to hear this sad news.  We will always remember him coming to Chicago Walkers on Saturday mornings with his coffee cup.
