Joseph Neville Covarrubias Joseph (Joe) Covarrubias (38.) Joe was a resident of Will County where he lived with his parents Jose and Monica Covarrubias. He was born and raised in Chicago, Illinois. Joe was loved and liked by all his family and friends. Joe loved his family, and you could see it in him.

He was born on December 14, 1982 in Chicago, Illinois and passed away on Wednesday September 29, 2021 at St. Joseph hospital in Joliet, Il. Joe is preceded in death by his grandparents Luther and Audrean Thomas and his grandfather Raul Covarrubias. He is survived by his mother and father Jose and Monica Covarrubias and a brother Mathew Covarrubias and nieces Isabella and Karissa Covarrubias. He is also survived by his Grandmother Virginia Covarrubias, Aunt Mona and husband Tom Blood, Uncle Luther and wife Cindy Thomas, Aunt Paula and husband Charley Hale, Aunt Stacy Thomas and Raul Ramos, Uncle Genaro, and wife Scorro Covarrubias, Uncle Amador and wife Alicia Covarrubias, Uncle Enrique and wife Irma Covarrubias, Uncle Pablo and wife Rebecca Covarrubias, Uncle Raul (Tito) and wife Silvia Covarrubias, Aunt Enolia and husband Rogelio Hermosillio. He has 32 first cousins that loved him dearly and 22 second cousins.

Visitation will be Sunday October 3, 2021, at Drake and Son Funeral Home 5303 N. Western for family from 10a.m. to 11a.m friends from 11a.m. to 2 p.m. funeral from 2p.m. to 3p.m. and burial is at 3 p.m. at Rosehill Cemetery at Peterson and Oakley.
