Kathleen Ann Howard

Kathleen Ann Howard, 70, passed away Wednesday, March 27th , 2024 at her home in Chicago. ‘Kathy’ was the daughter of the late Joseph LeRoy Howard and Virgina Rita Rowe. Kathy graduated from Josephinum High School in 1971. She worked for Chase (formerly First National) Bank for many years.

Kathy is survived by her brothers, Tim (Monica) Howard of Chicago and Kevin (Joy) Howard of Urbana. Aunt to Timothy (Kristen) Howard, Kelly Poders and Joseph Howard. Great aunt to Rebecca, Allison and Nicole Howard, Amanda Poders, Steven Poders and great nephew, Ayden Poders. Also an aunt, Jean Rowe, of Dowagiac, MI and many cousins.

Kathy enjoyed traveling. Growing up, her family visited a different area of the United States each summer. As an adult, she and her mother traveled often, reaching as far as Aruba, Ireland and Norway. They also enjoyed day and weekend trips. Kathy loved collecting and had a variety of interests. Barbies, Snow Babies, Cookie Jars, Elvis albums, Commemorative Plates and more.

Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Malec & Sons Funeral Home. Burial will be at Queen of Heaven Cemetery in Hillside, Illinois. Memorial services will be held at later time.
