Kathleen S. Lundeen

Lundeen, Kathleen S. Age 63, passed away peacefully into Heaven on January 5, 2017. Born to Ralph DeLeon and Evelyn (Krucki) DeLeon. Raised in Chicago, she had a passionate love of the City. She graduated from Immaculate Heart of Mary elementary school and Madonna High School. Primarily a homemaker, she was always a devoted mother and grandmother. She is survived by sons, Eric (and grandson, Braeden), Paul (Teresa and granddaughter, Quinn), Kevin (and grandchildren, James and Lilly); and daughter, Jill (fiancé, Justin); sister, Gayle (Anthony, and nephews, Anthony, Henry, and niece, Claire); stepmother, Irene; cousins, Linda (Charlie), Lorraine (Pat), and Michael; extended cousins, Melissa (and Family) and Heather (and Family); cousins, Dolores (Steve); extended cousins, Vicki (and Family), Steven (and Family), and Pamela (and Family); and her dearest friends, LuAnn and Judy. Wake will be held on Thursday, January 12, from 3:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m. at Malec & Sons funeral home (6000 N. Milwaukee Ave.) and a funeral Mass on Friday, January 13, at 11:00 a.m. at Immaculate Heart of Mary Church (3834 N . Spaulding Ave.) to be followed by her procession to St. Adalbert's Catholic Cemetery (6800 N. Milwaukee Ave.).
