Katie grew up on the Southwest Side of Chicago, graduating from Oak Lawn High School and Moraine Valley Community College. She took great pride in serving her community as a first responder and emergency room technician. She is survived by her parents, brother, and two children, Molly and Erik. Katie shared a love for the arts, music, humor, and her family.
A visitation will be held on January 2nd, 2026, from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm at Andrew J McGann & Sons Funeral Home, located at 10727 S Pulaski Rd, Chicago, IL 60655. A chapel service will follow on January 2nd, 2026, from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm at the same location.
Interment will take place at St. Casimir Cemetery, 4401 W 111th St, Chicago, IL 60655.
