She was born on January 6, 1986 to Steven and Susanna and brother Jason in Lincolnwood, Illinois.
Kim decided early on to be a doctor and attended the University of Michigan and Chicago Medical School. She became a pediatrician in 2014. Her patients made her smile with their questions and she loved helping all children.
She was an avid traveler and loved her time with the elephants in Thailand. She loved trying new foods from all cultures and was a loyal, caring, funny friend. Her hidden passion was fishing. She spent time every year fishing in Michigan, Wisconsin, and Illinois with her dad and uncles. She is loved and missed by her parents, brother, and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made in her name to The Sumaira Foundation.
