Dear Kambiz,

I was so sorry to learn from Giulia that Leila has passed.  Her fighting spirit was an inspiration to me each time I would see you and she at the Mobarhan's.  She was no doubt the light of your life, and she will be hugely missed.  May you find peace in the knowledge that she is free of her earthly limitations. Dear Dr Dowlat, Cyrus, and Kian,
Words are not sufficient to express our deepest sympathy for your loss. Lehla was a woman we greatly respected and admired. Her refined and graceful manner clearly reflected a strong family upbringing, and culture. Lehla's strength while facing a long and difficult illness was inspiring in the face of such adversity. Her warm smile, keen sense of humor, and joy of life will be missed.

Dear Kian, Cyrus, and Kambiz,  please accept our heartfelt sympathy and our partnership in battling PSP. Don's sister--Mike's aunt--passed away a year ago from PSP.  You three fellows brought Lehla such joy and caring. I can see her proud smile whether at the baseball diamond or at the grocery store in a chat about our families. I am very saddened. I will fondly remember Leyla from our days at Community School, with her friendly warmth, her beautiful golden hair and charming yet bashful smile.

Kambiz, Cyrus and Kian-- You have been magnificent.  Thank you for sharing your amazing wife and mother with the rest of us. 
She astonished me, always and in so many ways. She was and is a model for life in this chaotic world we now inhabit.  A truly remarkable human being.

Leila and I were classmates at CHS (from grade 5). She was a kind and dignified friend. She was respected and liked by all her peers. My condolences to her family.

This is such sad news.   Having read these guest book entries,  Lehla,  my best  friend at Community School from 3rd grade, continued to possess  a warm and accepting manner  into adulthood.  I am regretful we lost touch.  My heart felt condolences to her husband and children.

I knew Lehla from my school years at the Community High School of Teheran, Iran, from 1960-1965.  Lehla and I were classmates.  I lost contact with Lehla after I left Iran.  I was notified of Lehla's death by other CHS classmates.  It's unfortunate that I was unable to meet with her again after Iran.  My condolences to Lehla and her family.

Dear Lehla, Just recently when we went to visit with you in the hospital you were not in your room. True to form, you were out for a walk in the corridor. Just another example of your fierce determination and sheer strength. I will always have a special place in my heart for you. You brought so much joy into our life. You were the ultimate hostess. Everything you did seemed so effortless and you always took great pleasure in the company of others.

My heart goes out to you and your family.  Tonight I pray for Lehla's peace and yours as well. Thank God for every life, as it is, as confounding as it may seem. With Love and Wishes for your comfort.

We are so sorry to hear of your loss. We always remember with great joy and fondness the years that we all spent together at 5490, and Lehla was such a major part of creating a warm and inviting environment there. We remember her gardening, decorating for Halloween, and hosting wonderful dinners. Mostly, we remember what a generous, loving, energetic and engaged person she was. She will be greatly missed. I am so sorry for you and your family's loss Kian. Your mother must have been an amazing lady because, here at work, you are a man who listens, sees what is needed, does an excellent job at whatever task is given to you, and has a great sense of humor. She taught you well.

Lehla was an extraordinary human being.  When we were growing up, I was always in awe of her accomplishments - she seemed to excel at everything she did.   In recent years, I was still in awe as I witnessed her energy to live every day to the fullest despite enormous difficulties.  My heart goes out to all the family - I know she will be very dearly missed.

Ying and I are still in shock. We just can not accept it. You are gone too soon to everyone.  We will memorize your beautiful smile, your dry humor and your toughness forever.  We already miss you Lehla.  God bless you.

I will always remember Lehla because of her kindness and very gentle manner. She always poised herself as a beautiful lady with a bit of good humor, she loved to laugh and at times when I told her something funny she always added another good dose of laughter into the conversation. She truly will always hold a fond place in my memory because of who Lehla was; a devoted wife and mother, a kind and loving daughter and sister,a professional business woman but most of all she always presented herself at her best as a true lady.
