Dad......
We will miss you so much. You have led a great and wonderful life as evident by the many people you have impacted over the course of your life. Thank you Dad for being the positive role model that has helped us mold our children. We are blessed to have had you in our lives and we hope to continue to make you proud. We will continue to pray and think of you everyday.

Dearest Daddy, 
My earliest memories were around the age of 7yo.  I remember attending a lot of parties at Uncle Johnny’s(Nicolas) house in Des Plaines.  You smoked back then, often sending one of us to the store with a note in hand to allow us to buy you cigarettes.  I am grateful you quit that habit.  I also remember a time when Uncle Timing lived around the corner from us, then moving to Willowbrook later on. 
You were strict back then.  You ruled with a iron belt with a buckle like Elvis Presley.  You always said “no” to most things.  Mom was the “yes” parent, but she was very diplomatic about it.  When we asked for anything, we always approached Mom.  She always said, “go ask your Dad.”  You always said no, but Mom somehow convinced you to say yes.  We were grateful that you became closer to God, the church and St Peter’s Filipino Community.  They helped “mellow” you out.
As the years went by, your health took a toll.  Your blood pressure was difficult to control and you took a lot of medications.  Despite this, you pushed through it.  You still drove, attended all PESO and St Peter Canisius events and even went to the casino with Mom.  
Then in January 2016- you had a heart attack. I remember sitting in the ICU with you.  You told me you wanted to live longer. You elected to go through dialysis.  Since that time, Mom was not only your best friend and your wife, she became your nurse and your caregiver.  She ran the house hold, took you to your doctors’ appointments and to Dialysis.  Jun Jun was the muscle;  Dennis, Makayla and I were the relief team;  Manno was comic relief;  Lora helped with nursing duties;  Madison and Marcus helped Mom.  Analise played her violin for you. Mom really helped to keep you with us longer.  
Mommy, thank you for taking great care of Dad and giving us more time to be with him, but now its God’s turn.  
Daddy, We Love you more than words can every express. We will miss you forever.  May God keep you in His Care.

Well loved by his wife. I met them a year ago and worked with him.  I am so sorry tita for your loss. I saw how much you loved him. May he rest in peace. My prayers for the whole family. 

Words cannot express how deeply sad that Uncle Manning is gone.  I will always have such fond memories of Uncle.

One of my greatest and earliest memories was visiting my family in Chicago during the summers growing up. You always liked to share your sage advice throughout the years, whether it was how this chubby kid could be healthier, or do well at school like my kuyas and ate, or how to help my father, your brother. 

During our wedding, we were blessed with your presence. I was honoured that you participated in the Chinese Tea Ceremony at our reception. It was about the bride and groom honouring those we respect and admire.  I like this picture because you were again offering your kind words of wisdom: how to love and respect your spouse, and ultimately my own family for a lifetime of happiness. I hope that I can live up to your standards.  

Even though you lived so far away, as I grew up, I learned a lot about you, like your favourite movie is A Walk To Remember.  Just thought that was cute. I never pictured you as a Mandy Moore fan. 

Both Ben and I will miss you dearly. Love you always.

I send my sincere condolences to you at the passing of Kuya Manny. My family and I will miss him. Just like my own dad (Ben de Guzman. cousin to Ate Estelling), Kuya Manny  suffered for a long time with various medical conditions. Even though it is sad that he has passed away, there is relief in knowing that he is not suffering anymore and is at peace now. My prayer for you all is that God gives you peace and comfort during this difficult time. May his legacy continue with you, his children and grandchildren. Thank you Kuya Manny for your authenticity and honesty. You will be missed. RIP

Jason and Dad are sadden by the news and will be there in spirits. Dad is really sad because he said you were a good Brother In Law to him. He will sending Lady of Piat to you.
