Manuel C. Medina, age 72, went to be with the Lord Wednesday, June 16, 2010 at MacNeal Hospital in Berwyn, Illinois. Manuel is survived by his loving wife, San Juana Medina, his children, Manuel Medina Jr., Marcelino Medina, Maria Medina, Lucia Guerra, and Anthony Ramirez, and his seventeen grandchildren: Jacqueline Mendiola, Jessica Mendiola, Andres Medina, Peter Michael Nevarez, Marc Anthony Martinez, Lissette Cruz, Marisa Caraballo, Javier Caraballo, Jennifer Medina, Nicholas Medina, Max Lomeli, Daniel Ramirez, Monique Ramirez, Maximo Ramirez, Anthony Ramirez Jr., Bianca Ramirez , and Mackenzie Guerra and by his three great-grandchildren: Julian Perez, Bella Perez and Christopher Robin Rosario, and was preceded in death by his son, Maximo Medina.

Prayer Service at 9:00 a.m. on Monday, June 21, 2010 at Zefran Funeral Home and from Zefran Funeral Home to Celebration of Life, Mass of Resurrection 10:00a.m at St. Procopius Catholic Church, 1641 S. Allport, Chicago, Illinois 60608. Following both Prayer and Funeral Services, Procession to Woodlawn Internment Chapel, 7750 W. Cermak Road, Forest Park, Illinois.
