Margarete H. Heyne, nee Kornek, 76, of Chicago, born in Germany, passed away Oct. 1, 2011. Beloved wife of Ewald E.; loving mother of Ingo (Carol) and Roland Heyne; cherished grandmother of Elizabeth (Chris) Barry and Lynn Heyne; dearest sister of Helen (the late Stefan) Sczerba, Maria (Armando) Velasco and Trudy (the late Roland) Zamudio; fond aunt of many nieces and nephews. Visitation Tuesday, 3 – 9 p.m. at Drake & Son Funeral Home, 5303 N. Western Ave., Chicago where a funeral service will be held Wednesday, Oct. 5th at 11 a.m. Interment private.
