Miguel Ventura, 71, of Kissimmee, FL formally of Chicago, passed away Wednesday, May 2, 2018. Born on Monday, March 3, 1947. Cherished husband of Paula Mendez; adored father of Maria N. (Miguel Colon) Ventura-Colon, Miguel A. (Gloria) Ventura, Jr. and Ivan (Julia Pena) Mendez; dear grandfather of Michael Ventura Jr., Ivanny Mendez, Brian Garcia, Giselle Mendez, Jackeline Ventura, Ariel Mendez, Katherine Ventura, Adelle Rodriguez, Justin Mendez, Bennyliz Maldonado, Ivana Mendez, Kayleen Colon, Megan Colon; beloved son of Iluminada ( nee Santiago) and the late Juan J. Ventura; devoted brother of Concepcion Colon, Luz Estrella Ventura, Hector Ventura, Nivia (William) Axelgard, Maria Almandoz, Yolanda Avila, Edgardo (Mildred) Ventura, Efrain (Connie) Ventura and the late Nelson Ventura, Javier (Gidget) Ventura, Juan A. Ventura and Jose Ventura.; loving Uncle and great uncle to many nieces and nephews; dear cousin and friend to many. Visitation Thursday, May 10, 2018 from 3:00pm until 9:00pm at the Montclair-Lucania Funeral Home 6901 W. Belmont Avenue Chicago where prayers will be said 8:00am Friday, May 11, 2018 to St. Odilo Church for a 9:30am mass of the resurrection. Interment will follow at Maryhill Cemetery, Niles, IL
