Richard John Adamski

Richard John Adamski, 80, of Chicago, Illinois passed away April 20, 2025. He was born in Chicago on March 8, 1945 and graduated from Tuley High School in 1963. He resided in Phoenix, Arizona during most of his adult life, working for Allied Signal and later for Intel Corporation as a Manufacturing Technician. He had a love for fishing, the latest gadgets and technology, good food, loved reminiscing about Chicago back-in-the-day, and most of all, he loved his family. He is the beloved son of Helen and Teddy Adamski, survived by his two loving daughters, Sherry Lynne Butler and Carrie (Jay) Southerland as well as his five grandchildren, Brooke and Ellie Butler and Madison, Taylor and Nathan Southerland.

Visitation will be held at Malec & Sons Funeral Home in Chicago on Thursday, May 1 from 4:00-8:00pm. Last visitation on Friday, May 2 at 8:30am. Mass will be held at 11:00am, May 2 at St. Elizabeth of the Trinity Parish, followed by a funeral procession to St. Adalbert Catholic Cemetery.
