What a beautiful thing it is to have had a Dad.  My heart bleeds for those who are parentless or fatherless.  My dad was an awesome dad.

We are truly blessed to have had a wonderful dad.  I will miss him dearly, especially our talks and all the great advice he gave me.

My dad was an honest man, a hard worker 
and always provided for us.  We lacked nothing.  He was a peacemaker trying to keep the peace with neighbors, friends and family.  He always put others before himself, volunteering in the church and helping people.   He was funny and told great stories.  Every time he told a story we'd always want to hear another one.  When we were kids he was always joking telling us to pull his finger, calling us his monkey clan and cute little nicknames he had for us.   He would joke to us about taking us to the moon and back.  We used to have so much fun when we went on family gatherings, such as family picnics, reunions and celebrations.  He made sure that we went to church every Sunday, prayed for every meal.  If there was no school transportation due to the weather, He would get up in the morning and take us to school even though he had rested only one or two hours from his night shift at the police station.  He was an excellent father.  He instilled some great family values and life lessons in us.  I'm so grateful to God for having such a wonderful mother and father.  I just hope and pray when I see him in heaven again, that God will say to me that he is pleased with the daughter, the sister and mother that I have become.  I am grateful to God for having my dad in my life.  He and my mother were awesome parents.  And I am so blessed to still have my mom.  Thank you Lord.

You were a big part of my childhood, I remember how you and grandma watched my brother and I often times when mom and dad couldn’t take us to daycare and honestly we both really loved coming over every time. I remember you always tried teaching us things so that we learn and loved working on your old school cars. We all loved and look forward to the good cooking that you and grandma did, especially during the holidays. When we lost you, it felt like I partially lost that warm feeling I used to find comfort in. I will always remember you as a tough soul, in which we all aspired to have, I look up to you. I will cherish all our family moments forever  ❤️ 

My condolences & sincerest sympathy to the Lopez family on the promotion to Glory of Richard. My thoughts & prayers are with all of you. May God bless you & may you find comfort & peace in our Lord & Savior Jesus. He'll be missed by everyone who knew & loved him. My condolences to the family of Richardini Lopez. I worked with  Richardini In the 13th  District lockup. A nicer man you couldn’t find. My name is Ricardo Lopez and I would often get his phone calls and mail and Vice a versa. He will be missed. It was my honor to know him for a short period of time. You will all be remembered in my prayers. God keep you all strong . 

It’s hard to forget someone who gave you so much to remember. The lessons, the laughs, and the love will forever live in my memories. He was a true blessing in everyone’s life. To the only grandfather I’ve known; Rest In Peace Richardini 🤍

My beloved and wonder father we thank you wholeheartedly for being present to celebrate our family’s triumphs.  We are profoundly thankful you were our rock during times of turbulation. In our eyes, we found you skilled beyond measure for being an excellent husband to mom and we recognize you as a phenomenal father. You shaped us to be lovely human beings and because of both you and mom we are in Christ. Having the Lord in our hearts, as you desired, our cups were made full to meet our needs.

 We delight in our Heavenly Father’s promise that children of God will have eternal life in the Kingdom of heaven free from pain and suffering. Our hearts are broken like a chattered glass. We can hear you say, “Don’t Worry! Our AWESOME and MIGHTY God will mend your hearts and comfort you. He will show us the way”. Yes. We believe this.

What an amazing individual. A lesson should be learned from this warm hearted individual. He was intelligent, funny, helpful, interesting, but most of all he always had a smile on his face as if it was a trademark. If you talked cars, he was all in. If you had a project, he knew someone that could help. If you had problems, he would listen. Rich was always doing something. Cars were his passion. Always working on one or another. He also enjoyed car shows. If there was a good boxing match, he ordered it and invited you over to watch. Everytime he saw me, " here comes Steveoreno". Richardini, you'll be missed but not forgotten. I cannot bring myself to say goodbye but until we meet again. 

Hi grandpa, I'm back again.  I know I already shared a message, but I have so much more to say to you. I feel like I didn't get enough time.. For some strange reason me writing this right now feels like I'm actually speaking to you. What I'll miss the absolute most are all the littlest things. I'll miss rushing to leave to work just so I can sit with you in the living room for a couple minutes before I headed out. (Even when it made me late) I'll miss you always making sure the kitchen got cleaned EVERY SINGLE NIGHT after dinner, no matter how late it was. WE HAD TO GET IT DONE NO EXCEPTIONS. You taught me that. I'll miss coming home on summer days and knowing I was gonna see you out front watering the grass. I'll miss going to like 5 different grocery stores just to find the right/perfect brand of MOTTS apple juice for you. (You killed me with that one but seeing you happy was all that mattered). Going to the Chinese buffet with Grandma, Lise, Aly, Rich & Johnathan & practically staying for BOTH LUNCH & DINNER. No matter how much we all ate you always had us open and read our fortune cookie. You loved those, that was your favorite spot! I'll miss how hard you were on me, it's part of the reason I am who I am today, so thank you x100 for that. You taught me to never give up, get back up and try again. Settling was never an option. I work so hard because of you. I've always been the "strong" one, a tad bit stubborn, my tempers not that great but you always grounded me. Right now, grandpa I'm so weak my heart hurts. Although I watched you fight till your very last breath and tried my hardest to prepare myself, loosing you feels like I lost a part of me and a part of home. I feel empty without you but whole that you're not hurting anymore. Trust me, its super bittersweet. I'm here at work and can't even focus, your all I think about (like tunnel vision). Watch over me, send me a dream. Like I always told you "I love you, I'll be home later, goodnight grandpa." -gecca<3

I remember always  going over the house to hangout with Angelica and I would always have my little Hondas and he would come out and say what kind of car is that, is that a hot wheel. Then he would say come to the garage I’m going to show u a man’s car and show me his baby blue Cadillac .

Grandpa was always cracking jokes and had a smile on his face you could never tell any pain he was going through. He always made me feel so welcomed every time I visited the family. I will never forget how special he made every one seem and feel! He is one man we will miss but never forget! My condolences to the family; You all are in my prayers! Love you!

This world has truly lost a beautiful soul, Richardini Lopez. Rich was a wise, cheerful  man with an infectious smile that I'll never forget. One memory I have is when he recommended the best DJ for our wedding reception. Everyone danced their butts off that night! I still brag lol. I'll miss seeing him at the family parties. I'll miss saying Rich & Gloria cause that's how its always been. To Gloria, kids, grandkids & extended family my heart goes out to all of you. May Rich rest in eternal peace with the angels up above.

To my mountain that turned me into a rock, someone whom I was a part of. I was once clay but turned around over these blessed years that the lord has given us all. This man helped me through fire and brimstone, by the grace of God. I thank the lord, Jesus Christ for giving my beloved father 5 more years to be with me for just one last moment, and for that he is at peace. Thank you all for giving my father the respect and honor, he was truly blessed to receive. He lives in our spirits now. Love your son, Richardini Lopez Jr. (Little one) <3

One of the most beautiful things I’ve had the chance to witness with my eyes is the bond and love my grandparents have. We are all made in gods imagine but I know that when god was making my grandfather he took his time. He used the best ingredients (kind, giving, and STRONG heart, family man, loving father, positive mind, INTELLIGENT, SILLY, and HANDSOME!) My heart aches to know you no longer with us in the physical world but I do my best to stay positive and feel the other emotions that come to me when I think of you aside from sadness. I am filled pride to have had you in my life, I am grateful you made it a point to do things as a family and always make us laugh-thus creating all those beautiful memories. When I think of all those memories my heart smiles, you did a beautiful job with your time on this earth. It is my honor to be strong in your name, I’ll make sure to proud. Enjoy your journey grandpa we got things covered over here. Grandma a.k.a. “Mooother Honeeey” has us close and we’ll make sure she doesn’t leave her purse in the shopping cart when she does groceries. We’ll make sure all the doors are “locked up” and to “take it easy” when we drive.  We love you always.

This was a great day when Richard got my son Paul to go to church with the family. There is so many beautiful memories he was a great man I will miss him.

I will forever cherish every moment we spent together. Whether it was watching boxing, talking about our cars, selling parts, or just laughing. I will be sure keep car building alive in our family. Rest In Paradise, Grampa !

My grandfather was such a great man. A blessing to have in our lives. As a little girl he always took me on dates. We would get dressed up and go to banquets. I will always cherish those moments of us dancing allll night long, having a great time. He has taught us all so much. It will forever be a honor to call him GRANDPA <3. Missed but never forgotten. Mr Lopez was a very kind man and how he loved his blue Cadillac my husband and I  met him at car shows and he always had the best smile may he rest in heavenly peace.
