

Teofilo is survived by his adoring children Evelyn F Reyrao, Teofilo G Fagaragan Jr, Rene G Fagaragan, Imelda G Fagaragan, Rowena F Zbell, Merito Fagaragan, Felix Fagaragan, Daniel Fagaragan and Leslie Baldugo; his cherished grandchildren, Danilo Reyrao, Ludilyn R Brownlow, Angelica Tobias, Christian Dane Tobias, Rex Tobias Jr, Francesca Mara Fagaragan, Alexis Nicole Fagaragan, Kevin Fagaragan, Bryan Fagaragan and Loren Fagaragan, Jeric Fagaragan, Joseph Fagaragan, Arjay Fagaragan, Jem Fagaragan, Daniel Fagaragan, Amy Fagaragan, Makayla Fagaragan, Joann Fagaragan, Jayden Fagaragan, Alyssa Fagaragan, Dana Fagaragan, Joie Fagaragan, Aaliyah Baldugo, Chase Baldugo & Aaron Baldugo; and his great grandchildren Phoebe Reyrao, Logan Reyrao, Seth Brownlow & Miabella Brownlow.
He was a beloved brother to Valeriana F Fernandez, Rosalia Fagaragan, Casimira F Justo, Enriqueta F Rana, Porfirio Fagaragan, Leonila F Sulquiano and Alejandrino Fagaragan.
He is predeceased by his daughter Edith F Tobias; his grandsons Joseph Tobias and Billy Mahaney; his parents Rufo Adzuara & Aleja Tugaoen Fagaragan; and his grandparents Bernardino Fagaragan & Maria Adzuara Fagaragan and Gregorio Tugaoen & Serefina Tacob Tugaoen.
He joined the Ablan/Madamba Forces as Private in March 1942. Then he was re-inducted on October 23, 1944 to the 15th Infantry USAFIP as Private First Class. Participated in the encounter against the Japanese supremacy in his province. He joined the Philippine Scouts from 1946 to 1951 and was stationed in Guam for 2 years. Before retiring he was awarded the World War II Victory Medal.
Teofilo was a great leader and excellent worker. He was the Barrio Captain of Pasuc, Badoc, Ilocos Norte for a couple of decades before migrating to the United States in 1979. He enjoyed working in the Central Supply Department of Henrotin Hospital and Illinois Masonic Medical Center before he retired in June 1989.
Memorial visitation will be held on January 22, 2021 from 4-9pm at Drake and Son Funeral Home, 5303 N Western Ave, Chicago. The funeral service will be conducted at 6pm.
