Victor Szatkowski, 88, beloved husband of Joan, nee Lesperance, passed away peacefully at home with his family on December 25, 2011. He was the devoted father of Peter, Jeanne Szatkowski; Janet, Jim, Susan, Nancy, Sharon Nymark; Diane, John Szatkowski. His 27 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren fondly remember his $2.00 bill surprises. He was the dear brother of Alex, John, Charles, Gen, Rose and Edwin. Victor was a US Navy veteran of WWI and Korea, member of St. Priscilla Holy Name, Schorsch Village, and Veterans of Foreign Wars. Victor lived his life totally devoted to his family as a loving patriarch. Visitation: Tuesday from 3:00 to 9:00PM at The Montclair-Lucania Funeral Home 6901 W. Belmont Avenue Chicago where prayers will be said 9:30am Wednesday to St. Priscilla Church for a 10:30am mass. Cremation Private. Memorial donations in his name may be made to St. Priscilla Church.
