It is with deep sorrow and much love that we mourn the passing of Virginia MacQuarrie, of Chicago on August 2, 2025, at the age of 92. The beloved mother of Thomas (Sandy) Rowland, Holly (Colin) Bosch and Marc (Christina) MacQuarrie; sister to the late Holly Dohnal and John Gibson; daughter to the late John and Holly Gibson; Grandmother to Tracy Rowland, George (Chanda) Sensabough, Tommy Rowland, Kali (Jordan) Sackrey-Johnson, and Amanda (Josh) Lister; Great Grandmother to Brady (Hailey) Hanenberger, Kennasyn and Jaxsin Johnson, Emmie and Madilyn Sensabough, Kennedy and Everett Lister; Aunt to Jeff (Lexi) and Brian (Deborah) Dohnal. She will be dearly missed.
A burial service will be held at a later date at Oak Ridge Cemetery in Springfield Illinois.
