Virginia Van Hoogen, age 97, of Chicago, Illinois passed away on Sunday, January 30, 2022. Virginia was born June 26, 1924 to Frank and Victoria Siolka (nee Pachron). She was preceded in death by her beloved husband William Van Hoogen.
Virginia is survived by her loving siblings Leonard Siolka of Krakow, WI, Chester Siolka of Green Bay, WI, Bernadine Siolka of Pulaski, WI, Nobert Siolka of Green Bay, WI, and Frank Siolka, of Pulaski, WI. Virginia was a wonderful Aunt to 36 nieces and nephews.
A visitation for Virginia will be held Thursday, February 3, 2022 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Malec & Sons Funeral Home, 6000 North Milwaukee Ave, Chicago, IL 60646. A funeral service will occur Friday, February 4, 2022 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at St. Wenceslaus Roman Catholic Church, 3400 N Monticello Ave, Chicago, IL 60618, chicago, IL 60618. Virginia will be laid to rest at Calvary Catholic Cemetery, 301 Chicago Ave, Evanston, IL 60202.
