

Wanda Mlynarski, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother, passed away peacefully on September 25, 2025, at the age of 95. Born in Poland on May 17, 1930, Wanda was known for the love and unwavering kindness she had for her family, friends and all creatures large and small.
Wanda dedicated her life to her family, creating a home filled with warmth, delicious home-cooked meals, and endless love. She enjoyed gardening, always sharing her bountiful harvests, especially her canned pickles. Wanda loved all animals, with those who knew her always saying that they wish to be reincarnated as a dog at her house. Wanda worked in health care for many years, and her compassion and care for others was undeniable.
She is survived by her three children, Kristine Kostrzewski (Kazimierz), Waldemar Mlynarski (Janis) and Izabella Siciarz (Krzysztof); her four grandchildren, (Maria, Wally Jr., Andrew and Casey) whom she adored and seven great-grandchildren. Wanda was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Wieslaw Mlynarski.
Visitation will occur on Tuesday, September 30, 2025, between the hours of 4:00 PM and 8:00 PM, Montclair-Lucania Funeral Home 6901 W Belmont Ave, Chicago, IL 60634. Her funeral mass will be held at St James Church 5730 W Fullerton Ave, Chicago, IL 60639 on Wednesday October 1, in lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Anti-Cruelty Society in Chicago IL or The Seeing Eye Guide Dogs in Morristown NJ in Wanda's name.
