Doris Grey Williams McDaniel

Ms. Doris Grey Williams McDaniel age 81 of Sylacauga, Al passed away at Sylacauga Health and Rehab on July 18, 2012. Funeral Services for Ms. McDaniel will be on Friday July 20, 2012 at 10 AM at the Curtis and Son Childersburg Chapel. Visitation will be on Thursday July 19, 2012 from 6-8PM. Burial will be in Greenhill Memorial Cemetery. Survivors are two sons; Phillip (Vicky) McDaniel of Sylacauga, Steve McDaniel of Fayetteville, Al. Daughter; Pam (John) Bostick of Red Bay. Grandchildren; Dr. Shannon Dobbs of Tupelo,MS, Gary Dobbs, Jr. (Melanie) of Oxford, MS, Paul (Ginger) McDaniel of Birmingham, Al, Christi (John) Penrod of Sylacauga, Andy (Jennifer) Mifflin of Leighton, Diana Bostick of Birmingham, Al, Lindsey Bostick of Birmingham, Al, Four Great Grandchildren; Zac and Zane Penrod, Riley and Taylor Mifflin. Pallbearers; Dr. Shannon Dobbs, Gary Dobbs, Jr. Paul McDaniel, Christi Penrod, Andy Mifflin, Diana Bostick, Lindsey Bostick. Ms. McDaniel was preceded in death by Husband William Thomas McDaniel and brother; Bud Williams. Ms. McDaniel was a Former member of First Baptist Church of Childersburg and a member of Highland Baptist of Florence where she sang in the choir and was director of the preschool department. She was a avid gardner and artist but her true passion was her family. Curtis and Son Childersburg Chapel will direct the service.
