Funeral service for Dorothy Jeanette Deason, age 78, of Childersburg will be Friday, February 3, 2012 at 2PM with the Reverend Chuck Kornegay and Reverend Jimmie Green officiating. Burial will be in Childersburg Cemetery. She was preceded in death by her grandson: Willie T. Deason; parents: Oliver and Marie Mitchum; brother: Kenneth Wayne Mitchum. She was a member of Trinity Baptist Church in Childersburg. She is survived by her Husband: Willie Deason of Childersburg, Son: Tommy Deason and wife Linda of Sylacauga, Grandchildren: James Deason and wife Kristal of Sylacauga, Kristi Thompson and husband Steve “OT” of Childersburg, Lynn Gardner and husband Nick of Ft Hood, TX, Great Grandchildren: Savannah, Natalee, Kylie Deason, Ben and Todd Thompson and Hayden Gardner, Nephew: David Mitchum and Niece: Marcie Mitchum. Curtis and Son Funeral Home Childersburg Chapel will direct the services.
