Lula Ophelia Roberson

Lula Ophelia Roberson, age 85, of Childersburg, Alabama was surrounded by family when she passed away on Saturday, September 14, 2024. Lula was born in Harpersville, Alabama to Mae Moon and Harold Zimmerman.

Lula is survived by her son Phil Ingram (Tina); her son Robby Wimer; her daughter Regina Ellerbeck (Travis); and her daughter-in-law Connie Ingram; her brother James Hudgins (Ann); her 9 Grandchildren, her 13 Great Grandchildren and her host of Nieces and Nephews.

Lula was preceded in death by her son James Ingram; her father Harold Zimmerman and her mother Mae Moon; her brother Johnny Hudgins; her brother Gensis Hudgins and her sister Mary Johnson; her great grandson Colton Brannen.

A visitation for Lula will be held Thursday, September 19, 2024 from 9:30 AM to 10:00 AM at Curtis and Son Funeral Home, followed by a funeral service at 10:00 AM. Lula will be laid to rest in Harpersville Cemetery. All services will be officiated by Pastor Duane Smith.

Serving as pallbearers are Ashley Brannen, Hunter Brannen, Phillip Ingram, Jay Ingram, Steve Smith, Travis Ellerbeck and Ayden Ingram.

Lula was a loving and great mother, grandmother, and "Yaya". She was a long time manager at the Shop N Snack.
