Robert is survived by his wife, Joy Marler, grandson Christian Marler, granddaughters Chloe Marler (Haley) and Dixie Marler, and great-grandson Stetson Campbell. He was predeceased by his father, Joe Marler, mother, Laveral Marler, son, Matthew Lon Marler, and brothers, Phillip Marler and Joel Marler.

Visitation will be held at Curtis and Son Funeral Home, located at 1099 1st St NW, Childersburg, Alabama, 35044, on January 24, 2026, from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm. The funeral service will follow at the same location, beginning at 12:00 pm.

Pallbearers will include Josh Galloway, Kelly Riddle, Zach Gable, Brad Gable, Christian Marler, and Gary Wayne Gable. Johnny Womble will serve as an honorary pallbearer.

The final resting place will be Vincent City Cemetery in Vincent, Alabama.
