Robert Lon Marler, born on September 23, 1955, in Talladega, Alabama, passed away on January 19, 2026, at the age of 70. He was a resident of Vincent, Alabama.

He is survived by his wife, Joy Marler; grandson, Christian Marler; granddaughters, Chloe Marler (Haley) and Dixie Marler; and great-grandson, Stetson Campbell. He was preceded in death by his father, Joe Marler; mother, Laveral Marler; son, Matthew Lon Marler; and brothers, Phillip Marler and Joel Marler.

Visitation will be held at Curtis and Son Funeral Home, located at 1099 1st St NW, Childersburg, Alabama, 35044, on January 24, 2026, from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm. The funeral service will follow at the same location at 12:00 pm.

Pallbearers will include Josh Galloway, Kelly Riddle, Zach Gable, Brad Gable, Christian Marler, and Gary Wayne Gable. Johnny Womble will serve as an honorary pallbearer.

Robert Lon Marler will be laid to rest at Vincent City Cemetery in Vincent.
