Vera Mae Stevens

Vera is survived by her son James Lenard Stevens Jr.; and her daughter Dorcy Stevens Anderson; her grandchildren Crystal Kelly (Allen), Donna Green (Phillip), and April Macon Ray, and her great grandchildren Carlee Kelly, Joshua Green and Peyton Ray.

Vera was preceded in death by her husband James Lenard Stevens Sr.; her father Albert Burton and her mother Pearl Burton; her brothers Howard Burton; Lenard Burton; and Buddy Burton; and her sisters Gladys Plowman; Shirley Green; Ida Etress; Betty Grier; Edna Vanwagner and Ruth Jones.

A visitation for Vera will be held Friday, November 18, 2022 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Curtis and Son Funeral Home, Childersburg, Alabama, followed by a funeral service at 1:00 PM. Vera will be laid to rest in Childersburg Cemetery. All services will be officiated by Pastor Matt Canoles.

Serving as pallbearers are Mark Green, Phillip Green, John Cox and Allen Kelly.
