Lee was an inspiration to all the players and coaches at Childersburg High School during my time as Football Coach there. I send my sincere sympathy to his family and are keeping them in my prayers.

I was fortunate and blessed to work alongside Lee for many years at Homewood High School and a couple of summers at Camp Mac. Lee was a honest man who loved Gayle, his boys and students and exhibited this care and love daily.
I appreciated the time I spent with Lee in conversation not only about athletics but more importantly about life.
I know that family and friends grieve Lee’s passing but I am confident our God received Lee into His outstretched arms, now freed from earthly pains with which Lee contended.
May God bless you all with sweet memories.-Palmer Griffin
