Arnold Francis Langenhoff

Arnold was born in Humboldt Saskatchewan to Ted and Mary Langenhoff. In his youth, he attended a country school outside of Fulda, Saskatchewan. In 1966, Arnold married Irene Poncelet in Humboldt. Arnold's working life started with the Railway as a section hand. Later on, he took a diesel course leading him to work in the local garage. Forever hard working and free spirited, he found a better opportunity farming south of Humboldt near Burr, Saskatchewan. Arnold and Irene sold the farm in 1999 and embarked on a lifelong dream moving to Chilliwack, British Columbia.

Family was very important to Arnold. There wasn't anything he wouldn't do for his wife and 3 boys as well as all those close to him. He enjoyed getting out and socializing whether it was the local coffee shop or the church where he practiced his passion for music. Arnold's other passions included working on and caring for his classic cars as well as boating on Harrison Lake.

The final decade was particularly challenging for Arnold. With his wife forever by his side, his afflictions worsened to the point where hospital care was required and God took over on December 6th. God created a new home for Arnold where he is now a guiding spirit to all those who had the fortuitous pleasure of his presence.

Till we meet again sir, forged on earth will continue in heaven.

Left to mourn his passing are his wife of almost 55 years, Irene; His son Monty, wife Donna and their family Chelsea, husband Colby Genest; His son Francis, wife Melissa and daughter Emma; His son Ralph, wife Twylla and their family Rikki, Randy and wife Mariah; His sister, Rose Marie (Ted-deceased) Suer; his sister Jeanette Joa - deceased; His brother-in-law Leonard (Darlene) Poncelet, his sister in-law Rosella (Mike-deceased) Schmigelski; Arnold was predeceased by his parents Ted and Mary Langenhoff, his parents-in-law Dominic and Cecilia Poncelet; Countless nieces, nephews and friends.

We who are still alive will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air.
