Art was born July 29th 1965 in Collingwood Ontario to parents Violet and Gerald Currie.Art graduated as a mechanical engineer at McMaster University, and would go on to acquire a multitude of other accomplishments in his career, including the time spent as a tunnel engineer. Later going on to the field of heavy duty mechanics. Art was renowned by his peers for his quick wits and troubleshooting abilities. Art would eventually marry his wife Catherine Currie and start a beautiful family. Art would find the opportunity to teach and would meet his apprentice Sean and take him in as apart of the family.
Art is survived by his children Dustin, Dylan (kassidy), Kelly (Dan), Christina, his siblings Shannon (Adam), Teresa (Richard), Michelle ( Derek),Donnie (Brenda) his grandchildren Abbie, Oliver, Harper, Jeremy, Kiera, Logan, his nieces and nephews and many friends.
Art is predeceased by his son Mitchell and parents Violet and Gerald and his sister Tammy. Art will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
