On November 29, 2025 Barbara Sharrers passed away peacefully surrounded by family. Born in Lamont Alberta December 27,1935, Barb spent most of her life in Hope,B.C. She is survived by her sons Matt (Lynne) and Jay; grandaughters Sydney, Cierra, Ella and Jaime; Grandsons Landon and Darien. She was predeceased by Dan her husband of 33 years.
Barb led a life of service in the Hope community for many decades. Her dedicated work with the Hope Otters Swim Club, the Fraser Canyon Hospice Society and camp Skylark was an inspiration to many in town.
Barb never complained in her recent years at the Fraser Hope Lodge. She always asked about others and their families.
A Celebration of Life will be held on January 10, 2026 at the Hope Rec Center at 2:00pm
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Fraser Canyon Hospice Society would be appreciated.
