In Loving Memory of Bradford William Beesley

September 13, 1970 - April 14, 2023

Bradford William Beesley touched the hearts of many during his lifetime. Born in North Vancouver, BC, September 13, 1970, Brad was the son of Brian and Cheryl Beesley. He has an older sister, Donna Michelle, who lives in the USA. Moving to Surrey, British Columbia in 1972, Brad spent his early years in the Cedar Hills area and was surrounded by the love of his family and community.

Like many young families, Brad’s parents parted ways, but they remained friends and were never more than a phone call away. Brad and his sister remained with their mother Cheryl, in the Surrey family home.

In 1992, Brad welcomed his first child, Gary. It was soon after this time that he met the love of his life, Julie, with whom he would go on to have three beautiful daughters – Brandi in 1998, Brittany in 1999, and Brooke in 2000. The family purchased their first home in Abbotsford in 2005, where Brad continued to cherish his loved ones and create many happy memories. Brad’s love for his family was unwavering, and he often spoke about them with great pride and joy. He had a friendly personality and was able to make friends easily wherever he went. Brad was known for his sense of humor and loved to make people laugh with his silly antics.

Health and fitness were also a significant part of Brad’s life. He spent many hours at the gym, working on his physical wellbeing and inspiring others to do the same. His passion for leading a healthy lifestyle was something he shared with his family and friends, and he was always eager to offer guidance and support to those who sought it.

Brad was always a hard worker and seldom missed a day on the job. He was a valuable and reliable employee and was steadfast in his devotion to his fellow workers. His job entailed long hours and could certainly be classed as boring and tedious, but somehow Brad was able to tackle it with an upbeat attitude that was an inspiration to those around him. Brad’s work family will miss him greatly.

In 2007 Brad lost his mother to cancer at just 57 years of age. It was a devastating loss that he sadly never really recovered from. Outward appearances showed little of the anguish he suffered. His ability to keep up a brave front, hid the terrible pain he suffered inside. The love and support of his family carried him through that dark time and life went on. Brad concentrated on his home and family, some travel and fun, and life seemed AOK. His children all graduated and Brad was so proud of them! He and Julie hosted foreign students over the past few years and presently have a young man from Italy staying with them. Brad’s unexpected passing will have a profound effect on him, but he will hopefully remember Brad as special, just as we all will.

The memory of Brad will be cherished forever by all those whose lives he touched. His infectious personality, his love for family, and his dedication to health and fitness are just a few of the qualities that made him so special. Though he may be gone from our view, his legacy will live on through his family, friends and the countless lives he touched during his time on this earth.
