OMG, just planned on looking up our friends when we saw this very sad news which proves you should not lose contact with the good people in your life. Cal and Cindy, plus their family were great friends and neighbours, Cal always made us laugh and didn’t mind helping neighbours out, we wish we had not lost touch. If you are ever in the area Cindy please give us a call or just call so we can hear your wonderful voice. I will leave our contact info with the owners of this site. Rest in peace good man. Hugs Joe and Dar❤️❣️💕

Calvin was a great friend of mine when we were teenagers. Aka ‘bum’ back then!
One my favourite sayings of his that I still use today (but I adapt it to the situation).... “I used to have those until my dad got a job. “
He was referring to my skis.
Anyways... RIP, had a great time hanging out with you!

What a journey, such a wonderful supportive family, I am graced to have been so minutely involved in you life.
You carried yourself with such grace and positivity through this struggle.
I know it’s wasn’t easy for all of you but you persevered, and now everyone can be at peace.
Cal, rest easy and I hope your family can find comfort knowing you are peaceful and not suffering. All my love.

Calvin my brother. 56 years of memories with my little brother. For the most part, all were good and a lot of fun. He was a little stubborn. Family fun, trips, vacations or just kicking around. All were fun and memorable. He fought a long battle with his illness and I know he struggled with a lot of pain but I can say that every time I spoke with him and asked how he’s feeling, he would always say, not bad. I know he wasn’t telling me the truth. What a fighter! During this time of illness, he still took Cindy for an anniversary vacation, witnessed Tyler get married, enjoyed 2 more grandchildren, many camping weekends, fishing, 2 camping vacations with myself and family. What a fighter! I’m not so sure I could have done all that. I Love you Bro and Will miss you. RIP.

My dear brother I will miss you!!! There are so many fond memories such as the family functions, ski trips, camping trips, the motorbikes we bought and rode together, he got me into car racing that I am forever thankful, I could go on and on. He loved his family so much and left a fantasic legacy for them to remember. Say hi to mom and dad for me
