Dale Edward West

January 5, 1957 – February 25, 2022

Passed away peacefully at home surrounded by those who loved him. Remembered for his kindness, generosity and happy-go-lucky personality. Dale bravely fought his health battles, before succumbing to glioblastoma brain cancer. The famous Dale smile was there until the end, and then he quietly left us.

He was predeceased by father Richard John Allen West and mother Margaret Rose. Survived by his wife Hollie Flint-West, his two daughters, Jami Dee Claveria (Yrvin) granddaughter Marley, Amanda Lynne Calliou, two sons Dustin Blake, Branden Lee (Family) and his brother Lorne Allan (Lori Bowie).

Dale worked hard his entire life and did not like, not working, when health issues recently made it more difficult to do. Despite those challenges he never stopped finding new ways to work and build things, always ready to go back to work when that opportunity came.

His main focus in life was to make those he loved happy. His love, laughter, generosity and devotion was admirable.

There is a Celebration of Dale’s life being held Sunday, May 1st from 1:00pm – 4:00pm at the Langley Golf & Banquet Centre 21550 44 Avenue, Langley BC. Everyone is welcome.
