Dale Gordon Zinko

Dale Gordon Zinko, age 67, of Rosedale (Popkum), British Columbia, passed away peacefully on Friday, July 26, 2024. Dale was born on January 21, 1957, in Edmonton, Alberta. Dale touched the lives of many with his warm heart and vibrant spirit.

Dale is lovingly remembered by his sons, Tim and Nick Zinko, and his former spouse, Audrey, with whom he remained forever friends. Tim and Nick will forever feel the void left by his passing, cherishing the countless memories they shared.

Dale is predeceased by his parents and older sister; Dale is now reunited with them in eternal rest.

A dedicated worker, Dale made his living operating a backhoe and was known for his tireless work ethic. He embraced life with enthusiasm and was admired for his sweet and generous nature. He was passionate about staying fit, taking up walking to maintain a healthy heart. Dale also found joy in tending to his potato garden and took great pride in his two Jaguars.

Dale was an active member of the community, he was involved with the local Legion and the Agassiz Elks Club, where he forged many friendships and contributed to various initiatives. His presence will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

In accordance with his wishes, no formal services will be held. Dale would have wanted those who knew him to raise a glass in his honor and celebrate the beautiful life he lived.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.

Though Dale has left this world, his spirit and the love he shared will live on in the hearts of his family and friends.
