I remember her warm, easy, generous smile that made you feel welcome, like you were family. Her contagious, sincere laugh that pulled you into the conversation no matter what else you might be doing or thinking about. I remember trips to the lake to unwind while a couple of city boys splashed around cautiously worrying about leeches. Trips to the mall, the video store, the convince store, whatever the guys needed, you were there for them.

I remember waking up to amazing smells of full breakfasts after sleepovers. I remember how hard she worked at multiple jobs to make sure her boy had everything he needed, and did it so selflessly with that amazing smile on her face. Countless trips to Chilliwack for spring break, with a full, royal welcome, even though I was just the sidekick.

I remember getting phone calls to make sure I was okay when I moved away for my first big job, there were always words of encouragement and assertions of how proud she was of me. I also remember the encouragement she gave me when I went back to school, with  never a doubt I’d succeed.

I hope everyone else missing this beautiful human finds comfort in their memories of her as well, I’m very lucky to have had her in my life, her generosity and warmth made me a better person, she’ll always be in my heart.

It is with our heavy hearts that we write this condolence.  When Eileen walked into our dental office for the first time her smile was the first thing we noticed.  After many other appointments I personally took the time to spend with her and learn about her life and many of her stories.   I loved her spirit and her tattoos  ; )   What an honor it was to be able to meet this wonderful lady.  You will be so missed Eileen.

My condolences to Ron and his family in this difficult time!

Eileen, she was always a happy and carefree Aunt. She would just phone me out of the blue to tell me a hilarious joke, her laughter was so contagious it would make me laugh, she would tell silly things she had done. Even though she lived in Chilliwack and I live in Edmonton,  we would always be close with each other. When we talked on the phone she would never say goodbye she would always say I love you. Eileen I will truly miss you but you will always be on my
Mind and in my heart.

Dear Cory and family. I’m both shocked and saddened by your loss of your lovely mother, Eileen. 

Every time I met up with your mom, I enjoyed her sense of humor and her interesting outlook on life. 

She raised her boys well and her wisdom and positive attitude will always be part of your lives.
