Ernie will be missed and lovingly remembered by his wife and best friend, Flo; son Robert (Margaret) Morgan; daughter Christine (James) Milne; grandchildren, Alyssa Campbell, Jennifer Smits and Thomas Milne; and great-grandchildren, Cacherel and Lachlan Campbell. He was predeceased by his parents, Charles and Elizabeth Morgan and his three older brothers, Walter, William and John.
Growing up in rural Saskatchewan, Ernie developed a keen sense of honesty and hard work, as well as a great love of the outdoors, wildlife and the sport of curling.
Finishing his schooling, Ernie worked in the grocery business, a career interest, especially customer service, that continued throughout his life.
When WWII broke out, Ernie joined the army and served overseas in France, Holland, Belgium and Britain. On leave in London, England, he met the love of his life, Florence. They married and built their home in Saskatchewan; celebrating 68 wonderful years together.
Upon retiring, Ernie and Flo moved to the west coast, continuing to be curling fans and participating in lawn and carpet bowling and bocce leagues.
Road map in hand and with their dog at their side, they enjoyed many adventures while pulling their Boler and traveling this beautiful country of Canada, coast to coast.
