Born November 11, 1933 in Chilliwack, BC, she attended Cheam Elementary, Camp Slough Elementary, and Chilliwack Junior and Senior High Schools.
She attended Vancouver Normal School, receiving her Bachelor of Education Degree at U.B.C. November 1966. She taught school at Greendale 1953-1955, and Central Elementary 1955-1998, retiring in June 1998.
She was predeceased by her mother, Vilo Kerr in 1980, her father Arthur Kerr in 1988, her brother-in-law William McKee in 1988, and her sister Norma McKee in 1994.
At the request of the deceased, no memorial service was held. Henderson’s Funeral Home in care of cremation arrangements.
