Fred immigrated to Canada 1954, at the age of 18, and settled with his sister Ilse and husband Gary in Edmonton who had immigrated prior.
From there he was introduced to the New Apostolic Church where he found his place and his lifelong commission to serve, as a Priest for over 35 years.
Years later, He moved to Vancouver BC.
Once traveling to Seattle Washington in 1957, to a district wide Church service, and spotted a beautiful young woman Anita, 16 years old, whom he married 2 years later, and the rest was history.
Married for over 60 years, a true love story…
They moved to Chilliwack in 1973 with their 2 children Linda and Annette, and was the Priest for Chilliwack congregation until his retirement at 65 years old.
He worked hard as a Millwright, and provided for his family a wonderful life. He loved Chilliwack area, where we all enjoyed boating, waterskiing, camping, summers in the pool, campfires and fellowships… Later in life he traveled many, many times to tropical places for holidays.
Fred is survived by his one Sister in Germany: Liesel. His Children: Linda, Annette and Nelson. Grand children: Jesse and Veronika, David, Grant and Amber and Joel, and his precious Great Grand Child: Weston… who will all miss him deeply.
The love, grace, teaching and comfort of our Lord was the main purpose in his life.
Faithful until his end.
