It is with broken hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved Mother, Oma, Omi. With loved ones by her side, Gerda Hulstein passed away after a long struggle with cancer on March 10, 2021. She is survived by her partner of 14 years Hugh Clyde, son Rene’ (Marieka) Hulstein, daughter Gerda (Rob) Hulstein; 7 grandchildren: Jordan, Marcus, Kanika, Tim, Ryan, Darbi, Marliese; 7 great-grandchildren: Braden, Weston, Nick, Levi, Sophie, Grayson and Lylah.
She is also survived by her 4 remaining brothers and predeceased by her parents, 2 brothers and her sister in Holland.
The family would like to thank the nurses and doctors from CGH 5North, VGH T4C and the staff of Cascade Hospice in Chilliwack.
In lieu of flowers, the family ask that you donate to the BC Cancer Center or Cascade Hospice.
