Ioan "John" Pop

He was born July 23rd1940 in Razoare Romania, where he spent 55 wonderful years, falling in love with Ana Pop to which they shared 58 years together, working as a mining engineer and raising his son Marius and daughter Monica. He helped raise his favorite and only grandchild Iulia.

Monica moved to Canada and Ioan being a tremendous family man moved to be with her and Iulia. Ioan and Ana lived in Vancouver and managed two apartment buildings. They retired in Chilliwack where Ioan lived his remaining years.

John loved the outdoors and was thrilled being adventurous. His hobbies included Skiing, Camping and Hiking.

Ioan was a strong, proud and good man. He always loved, he will be forever missed and will be never forgotten.

He is predeceased by his parents Ioan and Maria and his older brother Grigore.

A visitation will be Wednesday October 30th2019 from 5:00 to 8:00pm at Henderson’s funeral Home. 45901 Victoria Ave Chilliwack BC.

In Lieu of flowers the family would like you to make a donation to the Alzheimer’s Society under the name John Pop of Chilliwack.
