I am so very sorry to learn of Jay's passing. My sincere and heartfelt condolences to all his family - Mr. & Mrs. Ralph, Preston, and his friends and extended family. Jay was a good guy and will be missed. Gone far too soon. I am so sorry. May he rest in peace and fly with the angels.

My name is Harold Wiebe, and I just learned of Jay's passing from my hiking friend, Shane Brown. Here are 2 pictures of us snowshoeing up Cheam on April 26, 2015. He was a great partner helping us route find and complete that challenging hike ascending all that snow and ice. I hope your enjoying your outdoor adventures in heaven.

Just learned of Jay’s  passing. Did a lot of hikes with him during his hiking days. This was a hike up Mt Frosty in manning but we did goat ridge, cheam, macfarlane, slesse, mt Outram to name a few. Rest easy Jay.  We had some great conversations along the way.

I am so sorry to hear the passing of Jason…. We went to school together since Kindergarten and I have never heard any one ever say a bad word about him.  He was an all around stand up guy and one of my best buddies growing up.  I can hear his laugh still.  Rest in Peace my childhood friend

I miss the mountains, the only place I really feel you. You showed me a world of outdoors I never knew existed.  You are one in a million Jay. I love you so much.

This is what made you the happiest. Being out in the bush, just the two of us, camping, exploring. We covered so much ground babe, you taught me so much, helped me through so much, we taught each other about life, and how to just live happily, together.  You love my kids like they were your own, you loved me more than I've ever been loved, and brought out so much confidence in me. I will forever be thankful for you, and the life we created. I'm going to carry you with me for the rest of my life, I'm going to make you so proud. Thank you for 7 years of absolute magic, exploration and alot of love. You are my absolute best friend in the whole entire world, and I will live for you every single day, until we meet again. I love you to the campsite and back babes.

Jay was a long time close neighbor and one of the best you could hope for. Reserved, helpful, kind to everyone he met. His unassuming smile and humbleness preceded him. An all around great man. He will be missed in the 'hood. Rest well Jay.

You will be sadly missed by many. This was from up at Ross Lake on one of the 1st trips that I met you. Many great times out on the trails and camping. Life is an adventure and you were living your best life!

Jay was one of the nicest friends and co-worker anyone could ask for. He never hesitated to offer some of his lunches that his girlfriend made him. And he would always be bragging about how much and what she made him. I'll miss you and our after work smokes together..  Rest in peace Jay.

I remember when my husband Steve met Jay riding his sxs at Gill rd 2.5 to 3 years ago. It was like they had known each other for years and became great friends. Spending almost every weekend together riding. He cherished their friendship. You will be greatly missed Jay.  Sending my love to his family.

After Jay installed the rack, I thought that we needed to check it's load capacity.....it passed :)

This was the first sold Sidekick truck rack. Jay installed it so we could get pictures of it on a truck. This was just a couple months ago.  I was fitting that it was on a RAM, there wasn't much that Jay didn't do, weather it was for getting the job done, or just wanting to help his fellow co-workers, Jay was always there when someone needed a hand.

We were trying to figure out how to shoot chrome powder coat.  I thought I knew what we were doing, but I am pretty sure it didn't work out and it ended up a dull grey. Jay ended up watching a bunch of Youtube videos and within a couple days had mastered it.

I'll love you forever Jay. Thank you for the best 7 years of my life, I'm gonna make you proud babe, were gonna camp every weekend, I'm gonna keep all the promises we talked about. You're mine forever babe, I love you so much. Till we meet again.

When you papa and dad made me my very own fancy dresser for my birthday. I loved it so much!!! Even though within a short amount of time I had ripped all the decals and paint off. You were always so crafty, I would bet money that you could create something beautiful out of nothing but a few scraps of garbage. You were and still are so cool to me, I'll love you forever ❤️

Uncle I cannot believe you are gone. You were such a ray of sunshine that I was always so excited to see no matter what time had passed. I really don't think I could have ever asked for a better, more fun, funny, cool, or silly uncle. You are so special to me and so many people. I love you from the bottom of my soul. ♻️❤️
