Joanne Elizabeth Williams

Joanne Elizabeth Williams (Nee Clarke) passed away after a brief but courageous battle with cancer on Sunday, August 21, 2022 at Mission, B.C. at the age of 66. She is lovingly remembered by Allon, her husband of 35 years, her sister Marilyn, brothers Ed and Robb (Lisa), nephews Brandon (Tamsyn), Mike, Ryan and R.J., nieces Hollie (Chel), Jessi (Steve) and Yvette, great nephews Aeron and Garbriel and many, many close friends and extended family.

Predeceased by her parents Alton (Joe) Clarke and Mary Begg, and her beloved brother Dan Clarke.

Joanne was born and raised in Chilliwack and graduated from Chilliwack Senior Secondary School. She worked at the army base in Vedder and also for Lineham Logging at Spring Creek, Harrison Lake. Joanne was a unit clerk and worked at Peace Arch, Abbotsford Regional and Chilliwack hospitals in the emergency and maternity wards. She enjoyed being with family and friends and travelling to hot and sunny climates

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at a later date. Memorial donations may be made in Joanne's name to Canadian Cancer Society and Christine Morrison Hospice in Mission.
