Joseph Charles Freeman passed away on January 4, 2016 at his home in Chilliwack at the age of 83 years. He was born on March 22, 1932 in Empress Alberta. Joe is survived by his daughter Joann, son Stephen, two grandchildren, four great grandchildren, one niece and two nephews and their families. He was predeceased by his wife Marjorie of 56 years in 2008. Joe was a veteran of the Korean War serving as a tank gunner with the Royal Dragons. When he returned home he worked as a mechanic then with Customs for 33 years. A Celebration of Life Reception will be held on Thursday, January 14th, 2016 from 2pm to 5pm at Henderson's Funeral Home, 45901 Victoria Avenue, Chilliwack, B.C.
