Joseph Placide Dollard Jacques Menard

Jacques peacefully passed away Friday morning Dec. 27th 2019, in Chilliwack, BC.

As the snow ceased, the sun followed brightly, the skies turned blue, clear sailin Sir, suffer no more.

Jacques passed as he lived, with

Intelligence, love and his dry sense of humour intact.

More than just a dear friend, Father or brother, Jacques was a passionate individual In many ways : he loved boating and or flying (Kermit ) he spent most of his time on Ocean Mist ,at Harrison lake enjoying simple pleasures of life: feeling the peace, watching nature float by, chatting on the dock or simply cooking with his Instant Pot and showing off his recipes!, he was an incredible cook, he also deeply enjoyed his dogs, fixing boats, planes and motorcycles, collections miniature trains, amateur radio, and his White Rock Radiator shop just to name a few!!

Jacques was a creative person, with a curious mind and an engaging way of being.

He lived most of his life full throttle, and slowly adapted to a slower gear.

He is survived by his wife and companion Terrie.

2 sons Guy and Jean, a daughter Suzanne(François) 5 grand children Sébastien, Brigitte, Catherine, Cendrine and Laurence.

Many great grand-children , nephews , nieces and cousins. He is also survived by his 2 sisters Lucie ( Altea, Spain ) Anne( Orillia, ON).He was preceded in death ,by his parents Dollard and Charlotte.

According to Jacques desire , he will be cremated. Family and friends will be invited , to attend a celebration of life , gathering in summer 2020.

We lost a legend today.
