Julie Mae Corbett

It is with great sadness we announce the passing of an incredibly special lady Julia “Julie” Corbett. Born January 7, 1930, in Elk Point Alberta, passed away peacefully at her home in Hope BC, September 28, 2023.

As she sparkled in life, she will now sparkle up above with the stars looking down upon us. They say angels walk amongst us and this statement could not be truer as she really was an angel to all who knew her.

Predeceased by her parents and siblings she had numerous friends, nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, even some great greats all who loved her unconditionally. She leaves many in her extended family but Miss Julie as she was known to those special ones leaves her good friend Richard, Cheryl and Ed who helped make her life easier & fulfilling in these later years.

An artist, a world traveller, she tried everything in her life, so many stories were told always filled with laughter. Her glow, smile & laugh were contagious, she lived simply, always with pizzazz making all smile whenever in her orbit. When you say her name, everyone smiles, this was the effect she had on all. She truly was an angel, and we will all miss her! We know heaven is smiling as she walks with her family & loved ones once again. Love you and miss you our dear, Julie, Aunt Julie, Great Aunt Julie, Great Great Aunt Julie, Miss Julie.

A Celebration of Life will be held Oct 28, 2023, 1:00 pm, at Northwest Harvest Church 888 – 3rd Ave Hope, B.C

In the spirit of Miss Julie, please wear something bright and fun, hats welcome, as this will be our special way of sending her off in her true style! Pictures and stories very welcome.
