I will cherish many wonderful memories of Ma. She was like my second mom growing up. I was always treated like family.  Including giving me just as much crap as Loraine when we would get up to things we shouldn’t 😉  That’s what Ma’s do 🥰 She was amazing in so many ways.  She took us to our very first concert. That was her…the cool mom ☺️
I loved her so much, and will never forget her. RIP Ma ❤️❌⭕️🙏

A “dinosaur reunion” 2015:  Rosalie, Trudi, Adele, Linda

I am so very sorry to hear of Linda’s passing. She and I became friends in grade 7.  After graduation we both worked at the Royal Bank and I was a bridesmaid at her wedding.  In our senior years we got together with other friends occasionally when I was visiting Abbotsford. Linda referred to these times as “dinosaur reunions”.  I always enjoyed her sense of humour.  In school she was always at or near the top of our classes. She was smart, talented, and funny.  I cherish the memories of my friendship with Linda. My sincere condolences to all the family.

I am sending condolences to Linda’s family as they grieve her loss.
I worked with Linda for a short time at the Staff College and we had lots in common given our careers in Corrections. I only came to know Linda at the Staff College and I always found her to be pleasant, lots of fun and always willing to help out. She was very close to retirement at that time and was so looking forward to years of retirement ahead of her. She often spoke of her family and loved you dearly.

To my loving, intelligent and generous mother. I thank you for the wisdom and kindness you always showed me no matter what the situation was.  Your generosity put my family in a comfortable place we would have never achieved without your help. I will miss coming to cook for you and you consistently beating me at Jeopardy. I wish I would have been more forceful and had you screened for cancer much earlier,  I knew you were suffering in the end and I tried my best to comfort you. We liked some of the same musical artists and that was a positive influence on me as well. Certain songs will always remind me of you.  Your personality and caring nature created many friends for you.  I will forever grieve losing my beautiful Mother.  With eternal love forever your son Glen.

In the end, you only remembered me as a little girl. However I will always carry the memories of your presence at family functions, Christmas cards you sent every year and the stories from grandma about your guys adventures. Rest peacefully knowing that we are looking after her.

In memory of my loving grandmother, a woman of sharp intelligence, strong independence, and genuine generosity. Your strength and wisdom have touched the lives of many, especially mine. I will always remember you as the family member whom I look up to. Your desire for me to reach my potential has driven me to accomplishment and success, and if it were not for your influence, I would not be where I am today. I will never forget how you would come and support me at all my sports games and practices, and even reading challenges. I will always miss the moments together with you and my dad, when we would cook homemade dinners while our favorite music hummed in the background, and then watch Jeopardy, of which you would always win. I wish I had not taken those moments for granted, because now that I am older, I realize that so many moments are lost where I know that only your guiding words would have comforted me. I look for your wise voice in every decision I make, and I grieve the silence of it now. Rest peacefully, Ma, and thank you for your endless years of support and guidance which have shaped me into who I am today.
