

Mae Krogsgaard, the 4th daughter of Helen and James Lindsay-Ewing was born on March 21st, 1929 in Regina Saskatchewan. Mae grew up on the family farm with her four sisters in the Kennel District of Craven Saskatchewan.
Mae became a dressmaker and worked in Regina. Mae married Borden Krogsgaard on October 30th, 1948 in Regina. They enjoyed 63 years of marriage, residing the last 37 years in North Bend B.C. Mae enjoyed sewing, knitting, crocheting, cooking, cake decorating, gardening, and homemaking. Many of these talents she passed on to her grandchildren. Most of all she was a loving and wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. As a devoted Christian woman, Mae led a life of example and made a difference in every life she touched. Always a lady, kind, gentle, hospitable, fun loving, and quick witted.
December 1st, 2011 Mae could no longer be cared for in her own home and took up residency at the Fraser Hope Lodge. Mae, surrounded by her family, departed peacefully from this life on Sunday evening, December 25th, 2011 at 82 years of age. Mae is survived by her husband Borden Korgsgaard, children Diane (Howard) Johnson; Brian (Lorna) Krogsgaard, Lindsay(Roberta) Krogsgaard; 20 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; sister Muriel Lindsay-Ewing; numerous nieces, and nephews. Predeceased by brother-in-law Wilbur Dunsmore; sister Daisy (Margaret); grandson Levi; brother-in-law Jack Dench; sister Isabell; sister Jean; great grandson Kael; and brother-in-law Sebastian Zerr.
