Marcel Albert Labrosse

Marcel Albert Labrosse passed away peacefully at CGH in Chilliwack, B.C. surrounded by family at the age of 86. Born and raised in Montreal, Quebec where he grew up on a farm with his parents and eight siblings. He moved to Chilliwack, B.C. in 1977 and drove a taxi for over 30 years. Marcel was a friendly,

kind-hearted, gentle soul whom loved spending time with his family. He loved horses, dogs and the great outdoors. In his spare time Marcel loved watching tv such as Clint Eastwood movies, Columbo and ‘The Price Is Right’, playing cards and board games especially chess and checkers.

Marcel will be missed by so many who knew and loved him. Survived by his two children Tanya (Travis) Kostering, Tyrone Labrosse, and his best friend of over 50 years Trish Bishop. His grandchildren Brandon (Carmen), Shailynn, Kailey (Keenan) and Kyle. His great grandchildren Hudson, Jonah, Calvin and Jack. His siblings Rita, Ernest, Therese, Louise and Anna, and his many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Alfred and Evena Labrosse. His brothers Alderic, Gerard and Francois Labrosse.

The family wishes to express their sincere thanks for the love and support they have received. Your kindness is so appreciated and will never be forgotten. A special thanks to Dr Wolff and the nurses at CGH ER and 4th.

A Celebration of Life will be held on January 14, 2023 at 8810 Walters Street, Chilliwack, B.C..
