It is with great sadness we are sharing the departure of our mother, sister, grandmother, friend and Aunt, Margaret McNicol (nee Streeter) who passed away peacefully in her sleep on Sunday, May 29th. Marg will be remembered for her quick wit, feistiness, sharp tongue and love of wine, sewing and crafting. Marg just moved to her new home in Sooke to be closer to her children and grandchildren. Marg is predeceased by her parents, Roland and Joe Streeter and husband, JD McNicol. Survived by her children (in order of age and not by her favorites): Mary Ann McCormack, Duncan McNicol and Davida McNicol; grandchildren, Kyle Plitt/McNicol, Chrysta Anderson nee McNicol, RJ McCormack, Nicolas McCormack and Daniel McCormack.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 1:00 pm on Saturday, July 9, 2016 at Woodlawn Mt. Cheam Funeral Home, 45865 Hocking Avenue, Chilliwack BC. In lieu of flowers, a donation can be made to the BC Heart and Stroke Foundation.
