Marguerite "Marg" Isabelle Carroll

Marg was born on March 16, 1942 to Louise and Thomas MacLeod in Innisfail, Alberta. After graduating High School, Marg attended University in Edmonton where she studied Home Economics and Business.

In 1964, Marg met Peter Carroll. After a brief courtship they married in 1965. They went on to have 4 boys, Mike, Tim, Rod and Shaun.

Marg spent many years as an outside supervisor at Watson Elementary. She enjoyed spending time with the kids and getting to know the staff.

Marg loved her family and often shared stories and pictures of growing up in a family of 5. Her siblings weren’t always close by but she cherished any time spent with them. Marg was a woman of faith and relied on her strong Catholic roots throughout her life.

After Pete passed away in 2011 she joined a grief group where she made some lifelong friends. She also took several trips with a Seniors group to places like Seattle, England and Ireland as well as local bus trips.

Marg was predeceased by her husband Peter, her son Rodney, her brothers David and Norman and sister Jane. She is survived by her sister Marianne (Manfred) and her brother Thomas (Bev). Her children, Michael (Liz), Timothy (Wendy) and Shaun (Angela) and her grandchildren Ashley (Allan), Tyler (Kailie) and Brandon (Chelsea). As well as her great grandchildren, Harlyn and Wyatt. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, March 18, 2026 at 11:00 am at St. Mary’s Church, 8909 Mary Street, Chilliwack, BC. A reception will follow the service.

Prayers will be held on Tuesday, March 17, 2026 at 7:00 pm at St. Mary’s Church.

Burial will take place at Vedder View Gardens Cemetery, March 18th at 2:30 pm.

Marg, you will always be in our hearts. Rest in Peace. We love you.
