My little baby brother.. he was the sweetest little one I’ve ever got to see grow up. My favourite memory is when me and the siblings got to make gingerbread houses, we were sitting at the table waiting for icing.. and the icing sugar was sitting right in front of him, he got up, and the icing bowl went flying towards him.. and all we could see was little Marquisy covered in icing sugar. He got upset because he thought he was in trouble, he wasn’t, we all laughed with him after a little bit.
I miss you so so much..

Me and marquise were dating and one of my favourite memories with him was this one day after school we were hanging out and we were walking around at Vedder river and we decided to play at the park we must of been there for about 45 minutes and it felt like we were having more fun on the park then the other kids there we got some funky looks from a few of the parents but we didn’t care. this other time we went and got chips and salsa from shoppers and then we went and sat on a bench in garrison and ate the chips and salsa it was so much fun at first i didn’t really realize it was a date but then about a week later after i talked to my friends they were like no no that was a date that was the first date i have ever been on and i’m glad it was with him.

We always told Marquis we first met in his mothers womb, picture of his dad's arms wrapped around his mom & him & born with a hair do,big eyes & big smile with a pose. He had the privilege of meeting all his Cousins, Auntie's ,Uncles,Ye'e's,Gigi's & Great Grandparents in the Nass & surrounding area. Visits were always a Surprise. There was Camping Canoeing, Swimming,Mushroom Picking, Sleepovers & the phone calls will be missed..we noticed his voice change as he got older & vision his smile in his voice. We were so proud of him in the Cadets ,we will honor him : Marquis you will be dearly missed & there will be many other memories that flood the soul .We may be laying you to rest but we are lifting you on high. With all our Unconditional Love, the unbearable pain of your loss because you left too soon, Prayers for you to Rest In Sweet Peace, & God embrace your Parents ,Brothers & Sisters.
God Be With ,Until We Meet Again🙏

No words can make this better. My heart is heavy with greif for the boy I once knew. I had the honor of being one of Marquis's grade 5 teachers at Cultus lake elementary. He was always smiling and never had a negative thing to say about anyone or anything. Fortune had it that I followed him to Watson elementary for his grade 6 year. I was able to continue to work with Marquis for that year. Even after he left for middle school he would stop by and say Hi to me. He was considerate and kind and made me feel appreciated. He truly was one of the special ones. I won't ever forget him.
